FORGE MEWS

ARC Glazing worked alongside Clarendon Homes to supply and install the glazing package for Forge Mews, a development of 10 new homes.

The development combines traditional architectural detailing with modern construction, with the glazing designed to complement the brick elevations and overall character of the homes.

The main glazing package consisted of white uPVC windows and doors, with astragal bars incorporated into the windows to create a traditional multi-pane appearance.

The detailed window design works particularly well with the red brick façades and tiled roofs, helping the new homes maintain a traditional aesthetic while providing the performance and practicality expected from modern uPVC glazing.

The rear elevations also feature glazed doors providing access to the private gardens, with selected properties incorporating bifold doors to create larger openings and improve the connection between the living spaces and outdoor areas.

With 10 homes completed as part of the development, consistency across each plot was an important consideration.

ARC Glazing worked closely with the Clarendon Homes team throughout the project to coordinate the glazing requirements and ensure that the windows and doors were installed to the required specification and standards.

Good communication with the site team helped ensure that the glazing package was delivered efficiently and in line with the construction programme, while maintaining the level of quality expected across every property.

The finished installation complements the traditional character of Forge Mews while providing the functionality and performance required for modern homes.
