Stunning Kent-based countryside home renovated and modernised with various installations of aluminium framed glazing, seamlessly working with its brick structure and oak timber cladding. The homeowners were looking for a fresh updated design style of their home, maximising the fabulous views of the property and flawlessly blending old and new elements.
The focal point of the property lies in the spectacular outset double height, gable end structure, which now features various glazing solutions.
SMART Visoglide Plus sliding doors with a slim 35mm interlock were installed in a 2-pane configuration on the ground floor of the gable end structure. Depending on preference and needs, the Visoglide Plus can be installed either in an inline sliding or lift and slide mechanism, making the doors greatly versatile and incredibly easy to operate.
Visofold 1000 double doors were installed above in the Juliette balcony feature and also feature in two sets to the east wing of the property. The slim frame and large glazing panels offer the perfect combination of flooding the interior bedroom space with natural light, whilst offering uninterrupted sprawling views of the countryside.
For the window system, SMART Alitherm 300 windows with a square sash and bead design were installed throughout the property. Capturing the vast versatility of the Alitherm 300, an array of design styles can be seen across the property, presenting a stunning collection of windows that maximises light throughout the property in respect of the different design nuances of the property.
To the west side of the property, SMART Alitherm 300 windows were installed in a large corner configuration frame, further showcasing the adaptability of these products. Set in a corner configuration with slim frame sightlines, creates an immersive indoor-outdoor finish to the kitchen and bar area, offering panoramic views of the garden and making the area feel bright and spacious.
All of the products installed as part of the renovation project were finished in RAL 9005 Jet Black Matt. This colour choice was an excellent addition to the renovation, enhancing the new modernity of the property whilst beautifully complementing the oak timber cladding and brickwork of the property.
