Appleacres is a luxury residential development comprising four bespoke homes in the picturesque village of Sutton Valence, Kent. Our glazing company was proud to be selected to supply and install the entire glazing package for all four properties in this high-end project. Working closely with the developer, we helped bring a modern, high-performance finish to each home, enhancing both their aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency.
Each home in the Appleacres development features a carefully chosen mix of UPVC and aluminium glazing products designed to complement the contemporary architecture and meet rigorous performance standards. We installed UPVC flush casement windows throughout all four houses. These were finished in smooth black on the exterior to match the modern façade, while the interiors were kept white to maintain a clean, bright feel indoors. The flush design of the windows gives a sleek, minimal appearance while offering excellent thermal insulation and security.
One of the standout features at the front of each property is the aluminium curtain walling, constructed using the SAS SF52 system. This striking architectural element provides a full-height glass façade that creates a bright, airy entrance space and sets a strong contemporary tone.
Each home also includes a bespoke gable window above the garage, bringing additional natural light to the upper level and contributing to the distinctive roofline design. The main front door in each property is a SMART Designer aluminium door, set seamlessly within the curtain walling. These doors offer a bold, modern aesthetic and deliver excellent performance in terms of both insulation and security. To the rear, we installed SMART Visofold 1000 Slim aluminium bifold doors, allowing homeowners to enjoy an open-plan lifestyle with a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. These bifolds offer slim sightlines, easy operation, and excellent thermal efficiency—ideal for modern family living. The completed glazing across all four homes at Appleacres demonstrates our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality solutions on multi-unit developments. The combination of flush UPVC windows and premium aluminium systems provided the perfect balance between style, performance, and value. The result is a cohesive, visually striking development that showcases modern glazing at its best.
