ARC Glazing were appointed by Hibau Living Ltd to install a combination of glazing solutions for their exceptional development at Otium Lakes, in the charming and quaint village of Pluckley.
Designed by award winning Guy Holloway Architects, Otium Lake is a private estate, featuring 31 bespoke homes, set amongst an idyllic location of majestic lakeside, parkland and woodland areas. Our architectural glazing solutions combine with traditional form architecture and materials to create aesthetically striking, high energy efficient new homes.
SMART Alitherm 300 windows with square sash and bead were installed across the full window system, generating a coherent and stylish design across the development. In addition to its slimline sightlines and enhanced energy performance, one of the pronounced features of the Alitherm 300 is its versatile configuration to fit any type of window opening. This was a vital component to complement the variation of different window dimensions and profiles designed across the system by Hibau. Finished in a RAL 9005 Black Matt colour the windows exude contemporary elegance and timeless style.
SMART Visofold 1000 bifold doors were installed to the rear of the properties to achieve the developer’s objective of creating a light and open living space perfect for year-round living. This highly-versatile, easy-to-operate doors system offers a contemporary and sophisticated glazed façade when closed, yet are capable of revealing a completely open aperture between the interior and external living areas.
Both systems of windows and sliding doors are PAS24 rated to comply with the advent of new building regulations.
