Luxury Aluminium Glazing for Hillstone Homes
ARC Glazing were proud to partner with Hillstone Homes to design, supply and install all the aluminium windows and doors for a prestigious new development of four luxury homes, each valued at nearly two million pounds. As specialists in high-end glazing installations, we were chosen for our reliability, precision and proven ability to deliver on demanding architectural projects.
Collaboration with Hillstone Homes
From the outset, we worked closely with Hillstone Homes’ design and construction teams to bring their vision to life. The project required seamless integration between glazing, structure and finishes — every element had to align perfectly. Each slimline sliding door was installed with meticulous accuracy to achieve flush thresholds throughout. Because the flooring was continuous across each level, all doors were fitted to precisely the same height, ensuring a smooth flow between interior and exterior spaces.
Precision Installation and Technical Expertise
Energy performance was a key factor on this new-build development. To meet the required U-values, we selected one of our most thermally efficient aluminium systems without compromising on the slim, contemporary design the client desired. Each property features between six and eight SMART Visoglide Plus sliding doors, many spanning multiple floors and reaching up to three metres in height. The installation involved specialist equipment to manoeuvre the heavy glass units safely and precisely into place. To complement the sliding systems, we also installed large panes of picture glazing and expansive tilt and turn windows. These were chosen for their strength, versatility and ability to support large openings — flooding the interiors with natural light and enhancing the architectural aesthetic.
Premium Entrance Doors and Finishing Touches
Each home makes a statement from the very first impression. Hillstone Homes opted for the SMART Designer Door, one of the most premium entrance door systems available. All aluminium glazing products were finished in SMARTS Vulcan Black, a distinctive, sophisticated colour that beautifully complements the blend of brickwork and render across the development.
