STONEBROOK

Set in the rolling countryside of Tenterden, Kent, this stunning home was designed to make the most of its panoramic rural views. We were brought in to deliver a bespoke glazing solution that would offer minimal visual obstruction while blending effortlessly with the building’s traditional architectural lines. Our brief was clear: create a seamless connection between inside and out, with an emphasis on minimal framing and maximum impact.

The highlight of this project is a series of ultra-slimline sliding doors, designed to open up the main living areas to the expansive landscape beyond. These doors were carefully specified to feature the slimmest possible sightlines, allowing natural light to pour in and uninterrupted views to take centre stage.

We worked closely with the architects and builders from the earliest stages, collaborating on technical details to ensure a truly frameless, seamless finish. Our team provided precise, site-specific drawings to support the construction process, allowing the door frames to be fully buried on all four sides—a key architectural feature that eliminates visible thresholds and framing for a completely unobtrusive look.

At one end of the building, we installed a large picture window that perfectly frames the countryside beyond, acting as a fixed viewpoint and architectural statement. This window enhances the feeling of openness and draws the eye outward, reinforcing the connection to the surrounding landscape.

This Tenterden home is a perfect example of how precision glazing can elevate both form and function. The combination of slimline sliding doors, hidden frames, and a feature picture window has transformed the property into a light-filled, view-focused retreat that feels at one with its natural surroundings.

“Outstanding. ARC Glazing were professional, dedicated and a pleasure to work with. Great team throughout and the end result is beyond exceptional.”
