Breathing new life into a truly unique and striking industrial barn renovation. Using an array of bespoke glazing solutions, the result is a stunning amalgamation of contemporary designs and striking aesthetics of original industrial foundations.
Welcoming the homeowners to the front of the property is a grand entrance created using our SAS SF52 Senior Curtain Wall. Splitting the panels with additional vertical mullions to create a 6-panel design, the result is a striking modern design feature which perfectly complements the sightlines of the original industrial-style of the property. Supplementing modern aesthetics, the SF52 is fully CWCT and EN13830 weather tested, 100% recyclable with a life expectancy of 40+ years, and requires no special machinery with a standardised and simple assembly profile.
Working in perfect harmony with the existing beam structure, SMART Visofold 1000 double doors were also installed within the curtain wall. These doors are an excellent choice for narrow door apertures, maximising glass width and slim sightlines of minimal aluminium, and those looking to create a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
SMART Alitherm 600 windows were installed in varying dimensions and styles across the asymmetrical window system of the property, further adding to the uniqueness of the property with each window custom-designed to fit specific dimensions. With its advanced design and construction, the SMART Alitherm 600 can achieve an impressive u-value of 1.4 when combined with triple glazing, excellent choice for thermal efficiency.
The SMART Alitherm 600 windows were also installed in a semi gable end structure, creating a stunning visual effect to the side of the property. This attributes to one of the key features of the Alitherm 600, its size capabilities. It can be made much larger than other products which is ideal for use in a variety of applications. The windows allow natural light to flood into the upstairs space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
All glazing products were finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, creating a striking and modern visual effect. The colour perfectly complements the industrial design style of the property, creating a cohesive and unified design aesthetic.
